Job Summary
Conduct cycle counts and full physical inventory audits, then accurately record and reconcile data using warehouse management systems. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by reporting findings to the Inventory Supervisor. Assist with receiving, labeling, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods while ensuring proper storage rotation and maintaining clean work areas. Communicate inventory issues to supervisors and comply with safety procedures and warehouse policies. This role requires working overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to focus on repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Mental ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve them efficiently
- Ability to read packing slips, product labels, and inventory reports
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, or retail stock management
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment
- Basic math and computer skills (Excel and inventory software experience)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
