Job Summary
Inventory Assistant Manager responsible for managing physical inventory of packaging materials, SAP reconciliation, replenishment, and packaging-related supplies across Harbeson and Pinnacle plants. Duties include reconciling SAP inventory, utilizing SAP requisition for replenishment, coordinating with vendors and customers, supervising the package room, overseeing unloading of inbound materials, monitoring packaging costs, managing excess/slow-moving/obsolete inventories, performing quality checks to meet specifications, maintaining supplier documentation (LOG, COA, COI), ensuring audit-ready records, creating new items/codes/specs/packages, correcting COGI in SAP, and maintaining the BOM for Harbeson, with emphasis on supply chain effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Four year College Degree in Business Management or related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge/Skills: Expertise in supplier processes and cost drivers
- Strong familiarity with purchasing and accounting processes
- Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier development
- Familiarity with supply chain and material flow
- Strong interpersonal indirect leadership capacity
