Inventory and Process Optimization Manager

Job Summary

Oversee inventory accuracy and control processes, including monitoring transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventories to ensure system integrity. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, root causes, and corrective actions while managing customer claims, returns, and OSD (Over, Short, and Damaged) processes. Lead operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce waste and drive cost savings. Develop and maintain inventory control policies, evaluate warehouse processes, and optimize workflows, space, and labor utilization. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end supply chain performance and prepare data-driven reports to support business decisions. Provide warehouse manager coverage as needed to ensure continuity of operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, supply chain, customer claims, OSD management, or continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, SAP, and inventory control tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives with measurable results
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Familiar with GMPs
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to collaborate across functions
  • Adept at leading operations and others through change
  • Customer claims and resolution management

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred
