Job Summary
Monitor and optimize North American inventory for all Maesa brands, focusing on finished goods and components to prevent out-of-stock and excess situations. Support the Inventory Controller with daily reconciliation tasks, including comparing ERP records to warehouse logs, instructing physical counts, and performing audits. Liaise with Supply Planning leads to define governance processes for inventory policy parameter refreshes and execute them across brand regions. Refine key metrics to measure inventory performance, synthesize data into actionable insights, and drive execution of corrective actions. Project inventory changes and their impact on the balance sheet and P&L while maintaining accurate health reports for the business. Work three days per week on-site in the Manhattan office for a three-month term.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or other relevant fields
- Minimum of 1-2 years business experience with experience in Logistics, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Inventory Management or appropriate College Degree
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong service / support mentality and willingness to help others achieve their result-oriented ambitions
- Ability to understand the performance of the business and what levers should be pulled to drive performance
- Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution and implement change
- Must have a high degree of self-direction with the ability to constantly seek innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Results-oriented and willing to initiate and nurture change
- Experience in a high-volume consumer goods environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage time in a fast-paced work environment
- 3 days per week on-site
