Job Summary
Conduct component part cycle counts, planning, selection, and scheduling while tracking progress toward annual inventory plans. Perform scrap, purge, and outage investigations, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and execute root cause analysis. Monitor monthly gap charts, analyze BOM transactions and historical data to improve inventory accuracy, and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory processes. Requires travel for training during the first six months, two years of related experience, and proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel. Work within the Process Engineering team to optimize manufacturing performance and support preventive maintenance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years' related experience
- Experience using ERP systems to manage components, assembly, and finished good level inventories
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Superior organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities with a positive attitude
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Must be willing and able to travel during the first 4-6 months of employment for training, totaling approximately 8-12 weeks in two-week increments
- Lift and maneuver 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to walk, bend, crouch, stand, sit for long periods
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' experience as an SEL Inventory Clerk
- Intermediate level knowledge of SEL MFG areas and processes
- Knowledge of SEL component part inventory
- Intermediate level knowledge of SEL manufacturing processes and component part inventory
- Intermediate level experience using Dataflo MRP software
- Intermediate level experience using Microsoft AX ERP software
