Inventory Analyst I, Shift 1

Job Summary
The Inventory Analyst I will own monitoring of inventory levels, traceability, and root-cause identification of inventory inaccuracies, providing feedback and potential solutions to the manager. Responsible for monitoring all material transactions for assigned areas, identifying, resolving, and determining root causes of discrepancies, and recommending changes to reduce future inaccuracies. May work overtime, assist in material handling, and cover for other Inventory Control personnel as required. Will help eliminate manufacturing downtime in the assigned area, perform regular component cycle counts, process inventory transactions, and report to customer systems when required. Assist in developing and implementing materials management systems to enhance inventory control, interfacing with various departments (supervisors, engineering, program management, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years experience in a materials or receiving role OR equivalent experience
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Read and understand visual aid
