Job Summary
The Inventory Analyst will maintain accurate inventory records for a food distribution company, analyzing movements and reconciling discrepancies to enhance accuracy and service levels. This role includes cross-functional collaboration and compliance with food safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience
- 1-3 years of inventory analysis/control experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or CPG/food environments
- Understanding of inventory concepts: cycle counts, reconciliation, FEFO/FIFO, lot control, shrink, and inventory valuation
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to communicate clearly and work across departments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food or specialty CPG with shelf-life/date-code management
- Familiarity with traceability/recall documentation and audit support
- Power BI/Tableau or advanced reporting skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
