Inventory Admin

Job Summary
Track and update inventory levels of raw materials and supplies using inventory software and spreadsheets, performing regular cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies. Assist with receiving deliveries by inspecting materials for accuracy and quality, then prepare outgoing shipments with proper documentation. Input inventory data into computer systems and generate reports to assist in forecasting material needs. Label, sort, and store materials in designated areas while maintaining a clean and organized inventory space. Work closely with fabrication teams to ensure timely material availability and communicate with vendors regarding inventory issues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in email correspondence
- Organization
- Shipment follow-ups
- Experience in an industrial or fabrication environment
- Proficiency with inventory software
- Proficiency with spreadsheets
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Additional training in inventory management
- Additional training in logistics
- Forklift certification
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification
