Job Summary
Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures and patient care under RN supervision. Assists physicians with radiological imaging, serves as scrub attendant, maintains sterile conditions, operates imaging equipment, monitors/document procedure images and events, educates patients and families about procedures and expectations, maintains unit cleanliness and stock, and completes documentation per standards. Works within Intermountain Health's cardiovascular lab environment across multiple specialized labs and collaborates with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and other clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered ARRT or RCIS within 18 months or equivalent CV-specific certification
- BLS-HCP
- ACLS and Surgical Technologist License in CO within 3 months
- Associates degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree/RCIS (depending on level) are acceptable (varies by role)
- Two (2) years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience (preferred)
- Ongoing certifications as required
