Invasive Cardiologist

Oversee all aspects of cardiac care for referred patients while participating in daily ambulatory and outpatient Cardiology clinic services. Consult, manage, and provide education and counseling to veterans in preventative care, applying evidence-based treatment for various cardiac conditions. Supervise comprehensive outpatient procedures including EKG and arrhythmia monitoring interpretation, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardioversions. Establish professional relationships with clinical service providers, handle telephone and curbside consultations, and screen consultative and procedural requests for appropriateness. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. This full-time role is part of the Northport VA Healthcare System, which offers an Education Debt Reduction Program for eligible participants.
