Invasive Cardiologist

Oversee all aspects of cardiac care for referred patients while participating in daily ambulatory and outpatient Cardiology clinic services at the Northport VA Healthcare System. Consult, manage, and provide education and counseling to veterans in preventative care, applying evidence-based treatment for various cardiac conditions and supervising comprehensive outpatient procedures including EKG interpretation, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardioversions. Establish professional relationships with clinical service providers, handle telephone and curbside consultations, and screen consultative and procedural requests for appropriateness. Full-time Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Salary up to $400K plus incentives, with eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program offering up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement. Board eligible MD or DO required.
