Job Summary
INV & FIN CONTROL SPECIALIST responsible for the procurement of FDA-approved medications for patient use across the health system, monitoring and responding to medication recalls, tracking and reporting medication utilization and spend, collaborating with Finance to ensure accurate charges and an annual drug/pharmacy supply budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining adequate stock to meet hospital and outpatient program needs. Ensures compliance with Joint Commission Accreditation standards, ISMP guidelines, and Federal/State regulations; maintains inventory, processes purchases, verifies invoices, manages pricing and contracts, and coordinates with vendors to optimize inventory and turnover across the pharmacy system.
