Job Summary
Analyze target digital network data to discover, analyze, and document malicious or unauthorized activity using SIGINT and computer network defense resources. Categorize traffic as benign, suspicious, or malicious, document tactics, techniques, and procedures, and develop mitigation strategies with a network or host-based focus. Conduct deep packet analysis, inspect data using hex dumps, and analyze metadata from tasked communications systems to track targets and report intelligence. Requires a Bachelor's degree plus eight years of relevant experience, Master's degree plus six years, or Doctoral degree plus four years. CISSP, CEH, and other security certifications are required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret SCI with FSP Poly
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience
- Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience
- Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Relevant experience in malware analysis
- CISSP certification
- CEH certification
- Sec+ certification
- Net+ certification
- GIAC GREM certification
- CREA certification
Desired Qualifications
- Programming experience in C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
- Strong signals/protocol analysis capabilities
- 451/452 graduate
- Experience with Packetswing, DVT/WVT, and AMOD tools
