Job Summary
Intramural Sport Supervisor develops and implements specific intramural sports, trains, supervises, and evaluates officials, helps establish program direction, and leads weekly officials’ meetings. Requires supervising weekend/night intramural activities, maintaining documentation (eligibility, waivers, results, playoff brackets), organizing training clinics, and ensuring a safe, service-oriented environment. Must hold CA driver’s license with acceptable driving record; expects strong communication, leadership, organizational, and public-relations skills, plus commitment to student development and diversity.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a currently enrolled student at Cal Poly with a minimum of 6 units. Graduate students must carry 4 units.
- Must have officiating experience, administrative skills and a working knowledge of Intramural Sports programming.
- First Aid, CPR and AED Certification required.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Experience with program participation preferred.
- Experience with administrational duties and public relations.
- Experience in leadership or management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise and advise student staff and/or participants.
