Job Summary
Oversees day-to-day administration of the Intramural League Sport program with focus on operations and communications. Responsibilities include planning and implementing team/individual registration structures, leading hiring/training/evaluation of student staff, coordinating recruitment and marketing, maintaining up-to-date registration systems and website content (XplorRecreation and WordPress), managing league communications (team packages, playoffs, schedules), and supervising 50-70 volunteer staff with potential impact on 100-120 staff. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends; involves staff development, incident response, policy implementation, and collaboration with multiple program areas within Athletics & Recreation at UBC.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of one year of professional experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
