Interventionist (Temporary, Part-Time)

Job Summary
Develop and implement systematic interventions to improve student academic achievement across literacy, science, social studies, and math. Provide explicit instruction and intensive support to individuals or small groups while modeling exemplary classroom practices for teachers. Collaborate with staff to evaluate student data, adjust instructional strategies, and ensure core best practices are applied with fidelity. Lead professional development on universal best practices and assist teachers in interpreting assessments to identify specific student needs. Monitor student progress and communicate results to support appropriate placement in academic or behavioral services.
Required Qualifications
- South Carolina Teacher's Certification
- endorsements as appropriate
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write reports, procedure manuals and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, managers, employees, clients, customers, and/or the general public
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram forms and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and the Board policies

Desired Qualifications
- A master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Five years teaching experience
- Demonstrated effective instructional leadership
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
