Job Summary

Deliver direct instruction and instructional support to students with identified mathematics deficits while providing professional development sessions to campus staff and district employees. Lead targeted intervention lessons aligned with weekly objectives and State Standards, ensuring at least one year's growth on MAP math assessments for assigned students. Develop and execute re-teach action plans, design four-week support plans for parents, and create student-led centers offering remediation practice. Progress monitor academic performance, prepare monthly evaluation reports, and provide daily written and verbal feedback to students. Participate in SpringWay Planning PLCs, campus training, and district-wide professional development days. Maintain anecdotal records and samples of student work demonstrating critical thinking and skill application.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate in Mathematics or EC-6
  • Evidence of four years successful teaching experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Evidence of at least six years of successful teaching experience
  • ESL certification
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Spanish
  • Good motivational skills with students and teachers
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to exhibit flexibility
