Job Summary
Direct instruction for grades 9-12 intervention students, using data-driven decisions to guide tier II/III interventions; establish measurable learning targets and use a variety of instructional strategies aligned to state/local standards; monitor progress and provide descriptive feedback to students and families; maintain accurate records; collaborate with instructional teams and families to support all students, including English learners and students with disabilities; demonstrate cultural proficiency and equitable instructional practices; and fulfill professional responsibilities with timely communications and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Reading as the preferred certification for Reading Interventionists or ELA/Humanities (Grades 9-12) or Special Education (covering Grades 9-12).
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Math (covering Grades 9-12) as the preferred certification for Math Interventionists or Special Education (covering Grades 9-12).
- SEI endorsement required
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) Preferred
