Job Summary
Middle School Interventionist at Lamar County School District helps students learn required subject matter and skills, align instruction to standards, and foster responsible student growth. Responsibilities include meeting and instructing assigned classes, planning coherent lesson sequences tailored to student needs, employing varied instructional techniques and media, maintaining a respectful and learning-focused classroom, communicating with families/guardians, preparing for classes, setting high behavioral standards, guiding learning toward curriculum goals, and supervising teacher aides/volunteers. Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Education or higher and a Mississippi teaching credential or emergency certification, plus applicable endorsements and background checks. In-person at Lumberton High School with contract terms.
