Interventionist : K-5

Interventionist – K-5 position at The Roger Bacon Academy in Wilmington, NC, providing direct instruction to students in small group or individual settings to support mastery of curriculum and standardized test readiness. Responsibilities include using provided content materials, establishing clear learning objectives, following school policies, creating a conducive classroom environment, preparing and presenting instructional plans, tracking student progress, reporting outcomes, collaborating with colleagues and administrators, rewarding positive behavior, and participating in staff meetings and non-instructional duties. Requires ability to lift/carry 20 lbs and to perform general clerical tasks; an Associate’s degree or two years of college credits is required with focus in education or early childhood development preferred; candidates should be prepared for an in-person, 10-month school calendar role.
