Job Summary
Interventionist role focused on supporting students’ academic and behavioral growth within the elementary setting. Responsibilities include implementing positive behavioral supports, planning and delivering lessons aligned with district curriculum, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, assessing student achievement and using data to inform instructional decisions, collaborating with classroom teachers to tailor instruction, managing classrooms, maintaining at-risk student data, sponsoring extracurricular activities, and communicating with parents and staff to promote student success. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the assigned subject/level, ESL certification, and minimum three years of elementary teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
- ESL certification
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in an elementary
