Job Summary
Interventionist/Coach: Collaborate with classroom teachers and leadership to ensure students meet learning standards; implement and model evidence-based strategies to boost instruction quality; prepare, model, deliver, and assess instruction for teachers; design and participate in high-quality professional development aligned with district initiatives; facilitate development and implementation of rigorous curriculum; assist in assessing services based on assessments and proficiency levels; participate in meetings with content teachers; salary ranges per contract terms ($59,491-$105,164).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts license & valid grade level for the position
- A minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience
- Successful completion of the Massachusetts test of Educator Licensure (MTEL) in appropriate grade level for the position
- Demonstrated success working with teachers and administrators as a professional development provider, team leader, and/or facilitator
- Ability to communicate effectively and model collaboration with staff and parents
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and ensuring all students have access to high quality instruction
- Experience in developing and providing professional development to teachers in content-specific pedagogy
- Knowledge of educational improvement planning and assessment/data driven instruction
