Job Summary
Select students for tiered instruction and schedule services while implementing scientifically-based research reading practices to meet student needs based on balanced assessments. Collaborate with professionals to analyze data and plan response to intervention, determine equipment and material needs for procurement, and review reading research to communicate findings to parents and personnel. Assist with professional development programs, offer family involvement sessions, and discuss student performance and solutions with parents, administrators, teachers, and students. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the building principal. This part-time, as-needed role at Page Jackson Elementary requires a certified elementary educator with five years of experience and a Master's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Teaching Certification
- Master's degree
- five (5) years of successful elementary teaching experience
- knowledge of the six (6) key elements of 21st Century Learning
- knowledge of research-based assessments
- proficiency in technology
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Teaching Certification in Elementary Education with Master's degree in Reading preferred
