Job Summary
Perform complex invasive interventional procedures, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and structural heart work, under physician direction while adhering to departmental policies. Provide patient and family education, operate equipment safely, and complete all required documentation. Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational status, manage inventory supplies, and participate in performance improvement activities. See approximately 10 patients daily in the Cardiac Cath and EP labs. Rotating call after 4 PM is required. Trade school graduation, BLS certification, and ARRT or RCIS certification are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Trade School Graduate
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
- One of the following Certifications: ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), ARRT Radiography (R), ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends
- Rotating call after 4PM
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Invasive procedure experience
- Cath lab experience preferred
- Diagnostics and Structural heart experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
