Job Summary
Interventional Technologist I provides top-of-scope direct patient care within the invasive cardiology/interventional radiology environment. The role supports a multidisciplinary team, models proficiency through precepting new staff, and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care. Requires ARRT VI/CI/RCES/RCIS credentials and BLS/ACLS as specified, with a minimum of 6 months of interventional experience. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or graduate of a certificate, license or degree granting program, or post-secondary educational program in a health science
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) program or Cardiac Technologist program
- Certified in Vascular-interventional radiology (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- BLS Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- Minimum 6 months' experience with interventional procedures
- ARRT VI registration
- ARRT CI registration
- RCES registration
- RCIS registration
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
