Job Summary
Independently perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, preparing patients, analyzing imaging results, and resolving equipment malfunctions. Assist physicians with therapeutic interventions while educating patients on procedures and monitoring their condition continuously. Select appropriate exposure factors, implement safety standards, and report status changes as necessary. Work full-time rotating 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a stroke call requirement, earning $37.35 to $52.29 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or graduate of a certificate, license or degree granting program, or post-secondary educational program in a health science
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) program or Cardiac Technologist program
- Certified in Vascular-interventional radiology (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- 6 months' experience with interventional procedures
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Requires critical thinking skills
- Requires decisive judgement
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
- Full-time role working four rotating 10-hour shifts 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Requirement for stroke call
