Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Cath Lab/EP Lab, modeling proficiency by precepting new staff. Deliver interventional procedures with 6 months of relevant experience, maintaining ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Cardiac Electrophysiology. Ensure all certifications, including ACLS and BLS, remain current through the start date and within 60 days of hire. Operate within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment to achieve exceptional outcomes and secure point-of-care safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or graduate of a certificate, license or degree granting program, or post-secondary educational program in a health science
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) program or Cardiac Technologist program
- Call is required
- Certified in Vascular-interventional radiology (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months' experience with interventional procedures
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
- Reg Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Spec.
- ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
