Job Summary
Conduct Angiography procedures, scrub, set techniques, and take images while ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and comfort. Provide procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols. Transport patients, maintain work areas, stock supplies, and follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and equipment QC. Recognize emergent situations, respond appropriately, and address patient or family concerns. Maintain up-to-date licensure, including ARRT and BCLS upon hire, and ACLS within 120 days. Work full-time shifts from 5:00pm to 7:00am with on-call and holiday coverage at McKay Dee Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Angio/Interventional experience or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification
- ARRT - American Registry
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - within 120 Days
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced
- Relevant state licensure and/or certifications
- Ability to recognize emergent patient situations and respond appropriately
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other caregivers and patients
- Knowledge and adherence to infection control and sterile techniques
- Demonstrated skills and expertise in complex diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for a long time
- Full-time (40 hours), Variable, four 10's
- 5:00pm – 7:00am
- On Call
