Job Summary
Interventional Technologist performing peripheral and neurological diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under radiologist physician supervision. Responsible for preparing and assisting with invasive procedures using aseptic technique, administering contrast materials within approved Radiology protocol, ensuring proper radiation safety, and conducting QC tasks to meet state and federal regulations. Requires ability to operate imaging equipment, enter data accurately, and participate in call rotation. Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology, cath lab, or diagnostic radiology; ARRT registration preferred and SCRQSA certification required for SC team members; BLS certification also required. Day shift, full-time position at Prisma Health in Richland/Columbia, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered in primary modality preferred ARRT
- SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)
- BLS certification
