Job Summary

Interventional Specialties Technologist performs routine and specialized interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, or electrophysiology procedures to produce quality diagnostic images and support diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently with sound judgment, delivering safe, precise procedures, and timely results. Provides competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Adheres to local/state/federal regulations and policies to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program OR Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist program OR Graduation from an accredited Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist program
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
  • CVT - Certified Vascular Technologist
  • CCT - Certified Cardiographic Technician
  • RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist
  • BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Licensure/certification requirements as listed for Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Technology, and Electrophysiology tracks
  • 3 years of recent relevant experience
