Job Summary
Independently perform interventional radiology procedures on assigned patients according to department policies and radiological standards. Verify patient and procedure details, provide clear instructions, and ensure correct imaging protocols and scanner parameters are followed. Maintain equipment safety, perform quality control checks, and manage supply stock levels. Train and educate students and entry-level technologists on proper procedures while communicating with other staff to coordinate patient care. Keep work areas clean and functional in compliance with DPH and The Joint Commission standards. Participate in ongoing education and training.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiology or related field
- Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist state license eligible
- 0-1 year(s) of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Basic Life Support Certification
