Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job

Job Summary
Operate and assure quality for imaging equipment while monitoring patients during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. Assist with vascular and non-vascular IR cases including central venous catheter placements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mapping/treatments, gastrostomy tube placements, percutaneous nephrostomy tubes, and peripheral arterial procedures. Function as backup and participate in scheduled weekend call rotations, with assignments typically spanning Monday through Friday plus one Saturday shift. This travel assignment places you in St. Louis, MO, supporting high-acuity procedural care in hospital-based interventional radiology settings.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (Radiography) certification
- BLS certification
- State radiologic technologist license for Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology technologist experience
- Experience working in hospital-based interventional radiology suites or procedural areas
- Experience with vascular and interventional procedures
- Experience with catheter equipment
- Experience with patient monitoring
- Ability to function as backup
- Ability to participate in scheduled weekend call rotations
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT (Vascular-Interventional) certification
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience
- Prior experience with high daily caseloads (approximately 6-8 procedures per tech)
- Experience with multi-room IR suites (up to 9 rooms)
- Experience with Y-90 procedures
- Experience with peripheral arterial interventions
