Job Summary
Perform diversified clinical patient care and technical duties under supervision, including patient assessments, chart documentation, and education. Position patients, select appropriate imaging equipment, and identify anatomy to produce quality images while applying ALARA principles and MR safety practices. Administer pharmaceuticals related to exams and assist physicians in performing procedures. This role includes a day shift schedule with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. New hires receive a $12,000 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
- Attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Interventional Radiology RT(VI)/(CI)/or (CV)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- RT Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Must be available for weekend, holiday and on call rotation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Post-primary certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography
- ACLS certification
