Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist role performing interventional radiology procedures (angiograms, thrombectomy, kyphoplasty, venous access, biopsy, drainage) using imaging modalities such as DSA, fluoroscopy, US, and CT. Requires vocational/technical education and hands-on experience; operates under moderate supervision, collaborates with physicians, assists with patient prep and positioning, maintains sterile fields, circulates during procedures, manages imaging data in PACS, tracks materials and charges, and upholds radiation safety practices. Must have an Associate degree in Radiology or related field, ARRT certification, state license eligibility, and Basic Life Support. Preferred: healthcare/X-ray experience, Interventional Radiology experience, and VI certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Radiology or related field
- Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist state license eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
