Job Summary
Operate and document all aspects of the Cath Lab, assisting physicians with invasive cardiovascular and interventional procedures while maintaining aseptic technique. Provide technical skills for cardiac catheterization, scrub for procedures, and ensure adequate floor stock and equipment readiness. Monitor patients, including hemodynamic and ECG data, documenting changes and reporting to the team. Prepare and sterilize equipment, restock supplies, and troubleshoot devices as needed. Maintain current certifications, participate in quality improvement, and support radiation safety protocols. Join MedStar Health's largest healthcare system in the Baltimore-Washington metro region.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Diploma or associate degree in Radiology
- ARRT license as Registered Radiation Technologist in Maryland
- CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) within 90 Days
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- 5-7 years Cath Lab experience preferred
