Job Summary
Operate and document all aspects of the Cath Lab, assisting physicians with invasive cardiovascular and interventional procedures under established protocols. Function as a scrub assistant ensuring aseptic technique, position patients, and monitor hemodynamic data while maintaining a clean, prepared work environment. Prepare and sterilize equipment, troubleshoot machinery, and manage room stock and drug supplies. Record, store, and analyze procedural data to support quality improvement initiatives. Maintain current licensure and certification, participate in inter-departmental teams, and assist in precepting new technologists.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Diploma or associate degree in Radiology
- ARRT license as Registered Radiation Technologist in Maryland
- CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) within 90 Days
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- 5-7 years' Cath Lab experience preferred
