Job Summary
Operate and document all aspects of the Cath Lab, assisting physicians in performing Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization procedures while maintaining aseptic/sterile technique. Scrub procedures, position patients, and monitor hemodynamic data, ECG, and angiographic results, reporting changes to the physician immediately. Prepare rooms and equipment, restock supplies, and troubleshoot devices as needed. Maintain current licensure, attend continuing education, and participate in interdepartmental teams and quality improvement initiatives. Cover PRN day shifts with holiday call coverage from 8am-4pm.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Diploma or associate degree in Radiology
- ARRT license as Registered Radiation Technologist in Maryland
- CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) within 90 Days
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- 5-7 years' Cath Lab experience preferred
