Job Summary
Operates and documents all aspects of the Cath Lab and assists with invasive cardiovascular and interventional procedures under guidance of the Interventional Radiologist, Cardiologist and Vascular Surgeon. Performs scrubbing, uses imaging and patient-care equipment, ensures aseptic technique, monitors hemodynamic and ECG/angiographic data, and assists with data recording and quality improvement. Maintains equipment, supplies, and room readiness; participates in inter-departmental coordination; supports education and ongoing certification; and may precept new staff. Requires Vocational/Technical Diploma or associate degree in Radiology, ARRT licensure, CPR and ACLS, and 5-7 years Cath Lab experience.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Diploma or associate degree in Radiology
- ARRT license as Registered Radiation Technologist in Maryland
- CPR within 90 Days
- ACLS
- 5-7 years' Cath Lab experience preferred
- This position has a hiring range of USD $35.68 - USD $58.84 /Hr.
