Job Summary
Perform high-quality imaging to assist physicians during minimally invasive vascular and interventional procedures while operating advanced imaging equipment. Apply specialized positioning techniques and radiographic principles to support accurate diagnosis and treatment, ensuring exceptional image quality. Assist physicians during invasive procedures while maintaining a sterile procedural environment and monitoring patient condition throughout. Ensure radiation safety and protection practices are followed for patients, physicians, and staff, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Work side-by-side with highly specialized physicians in a fast-paced procedural environment utilizing cutting-edge technology.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Licensure required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (or AHA-recognized equivalent)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Previous Interventional Radiology experience preferred
