Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for vascular and neuro interventional radiology suites, operate fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment, participate as intraoperative first assist, prepare rooms and maintain sterile technique, record patient data, perform post-processing and quality control of images, and support a range of interventional procedures (angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, portal interventions, and stroke interventions) while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles; available shifts with on-call duties; regional Mayo Clinic campuses offer sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance. This role emphasizes independent work, collaboration with radiologists and surgeons, and opportunities for career advancement within Mayo Clinic’s interventional radiology program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Registered Technologist certified through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Florida License in Radiography
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Must obtain ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months or CVIR
