Job Summary
Perform neuro and vascular interventional examinations in accordance with established protocols and prescribed imaging sequences. Prepare exam rooms, ensure equipment availability, and coordinate patient flow with the Board Runner to maximize productivity. Collaborate with Technical Aides for efficient room turnover and work with Patient Financial Associates to register exams and review billing codes. Provide procedural information to patients, maintain interventional radiology equipment, and manage supplies at identified inventory levels. Assist the technical supervisor in developing lab policies and continuing educational programs. Requires a Vocational/Technical Diploma, ARRT certification, and Cardiac Interventional Certification within 18 months. Salary range $39.25 - $64.71/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Diploma from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Associate of Science in Radiologic Science
- demonstrate competency in didactic coursework
- complete competency requirements established for the discipline in which they are seeking certification and registration
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Cardiac Interventional Certification in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiac-Interventional (CI), or CVT (Certified Vascular Technologist)
- Current experience in interventional angiography
Desired Qualifications
- Current experience in interventional angiography preferred
