Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary
Review and evaluate requisitions for interventional radiology procedures, confirming details with physicians and selecting equipment to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Prepare procedure trays, manage sterile prep and draping, and position patients during complex and routine interventions. Circulate the room to assist with equipment retrieval and perform the second scrub role when required. Respond to unique clinical conditions by creating a supportive environment and collaborating on patient procedure plans. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, complete all required competencies and documentation, and actively participate in simulation scenarios. Adhere to departmental QC workflows, ETU, and core values.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree, Allied Health
- 1 year of working as a Radiologic Technologist
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS Certification
