Interventional Radiology Technician - Per Diem

Job Summary
Per diem Interventional Radiology Technician performs sterile diagnostic, radiographic (IR), embolic, therapeutic procedures and administers contrast under fluoroscopy, assists physicians as scrub assistant, ensures sterile technique, and provides post-procedure care. Responsibilities include preparing and labeling images, verifying equipment connections, preparing sterile trays, coordinating daily duties within the team, and maintaining a clean IR lab. Requires ability to work in a high-stress environment and to follow approved protocols under radiologist supervision; on-call coverage as assigned. Minimum qualifications include a Radiology technical diploma, 2 years general diagnostic radiology experience, 1 year interventional radiology experience, RT in Radiology, and BLS; preferred qualification is an Associate’s Degree.

- RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania
- ARRT - State of Pennsylvania
- Preferred Qualifications Associate’s Degree
