Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention while adhering to radiation safety principles. Assess patient conditions, acquire clinical history, and position equipment to achieve high-quality images. Administer contrast medication and provide medical aid for adverse reactions. Comply with state and federal regulations, Quality Control standards, and Baptist Health policies. Assist in supervising student technologists and maintain cleanliness of work areas. Variable shift coverage supports radiology needs for PTO and general staffing. Requires current BLS certification and ARRT registration within twelve months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- Must be registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification within twelve (12) months of hire
