Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist role: operates imaging equipment to obtain fluoroscopic images per Radiologist specifications; assists with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures; prepares patients (history review, draping, positioning) and administers contrast/medications within scope; collaborates closely with physicians and nurses, monitors patient status, and contributes to QA and training of staff. Requires ARRT registration, BLS/ACLS, and radiography certification; part-time days with weekends, holidays and on-call. Qualifications include graduation from an approved radiology program and potential one year of IR tech experience; duties include maintaining sterile technique and supporting professional development and mentoring of others.
