Job Summary
Direct patient care in the Interventional Radiology unit, including development of nursing plans of care, administration of medications and IV therapy, and coordination with physicians and healthcare team. Responsibilities include utilizing the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), patient/family education, and participation in quality improvement. Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, Maryland RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of RN experience; expected to perform with strong communication, organizational, analytical, and computer skills, and adherence to GBMC values.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required
- Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses as a Registered Nurse
- Healthcare Provider CPR biennial
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- One-year Registered Nurse experience required
