Job Summary
Board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist sought to join SAMG’s Interventional Radiology specialty practice in Boise with clinic, IR, and call duties. Traditional work week with on-call responsibilities including evenings and weekends; call shared among IR team. Opportunity to collaborate with Radiology APPs and peers to perform image-guided, minimally invasive procedures using multimodal imaging (biplane angiography, MRI/MRA, CT/CTA). Procedures may include embolization, thrombectomy, venous access, TIPS, stent placement, biopsies, ablations, and other IR interventions. Primary work location is Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (Boise) with weekday procedures at Nampa and limited coverage at Ontario and Baker City. Requires MD/DO, completion of radiology residency and IR fellowship, Idaho and Oregon licensure and privileges, and DEA registration. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA residency program in Radiology
- Successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Interventional Radiology
- Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC- Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
