Job Summary
Provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department by performing high-quality images and exams while maintaining safe radiation practice standards. Assist physicians in highly specialized cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies. Serve as a clinical resource to unit personnel and act as a role model for other technologists. Work full-time or part-time shifts from 7am to 4:30pm with additional call requirements. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT)
- Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration
- Basic Life Support through American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support through American Heart Association
- Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year imaging experience
- Associate's degree
