Job Summary
Conduct interventional procedures including chemoembolization, cryoablation, TIPS, venous thrombectomy, mesenteric angiography, trauma embolization, biopsies, central lines, ports, and dialysis access. Manage shared interventionist call responsibilities during weekdays after 5 pm, weekends, and holidays. Perform additional film interpretation if selected, while noting weekend film reading is not expected. This role is up to 80-100% IR within a Level I Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center that rotates residents and medical students. The department is rapidly expanding with over 200,000 imaging examinations annually and a new state-of-the-art interventional suite.
Required Qualifications
- California residency
- Interest in expanding a broad range of interventional procedures including chemoembolization, cryoablation, TIPS, venous thrombectomy, mesenteric angiography, trauma embolization, biopsies, central lines, ports, and dialysis access
- Availability for 80-100% interventional radiology
- Willingness to work intervention call responsibilities on weekdays after 5 pm, weekends, and holidays
- Interest in additional film interpretation if available
