Job Summary
Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including catheterizations and image-guided interventions, utilizing CT, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology to guide interventions. Adhere strictly to sterile environment protocols and aseptic techniques while interpreting imaging studies and providing diagnostic reports. Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate interventional approaches and ensure accurate documentation with CPT coding for billing purposes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in interventional radiology techniques within a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Significant experience in interventional radiography, including catheterization procedures within sterile environments
- Proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional techniques
- Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication with referring physicians and staff
- Commitment to aseptic technique and patient safety
